PRSU Admission 2025: The admission process for Pt Ravishankar Shukla University for the academic year 2025-25 has already started on 25 March 2025 for some courses on its official website. Interested candidates can apply online before the last date for online applications, which is 25 April 2025. However, the PRSU admission is based on the entrance exams conducted by the university itself. Once candidates have successfully applied, they have to appear for an entrance exam specific to their selected courses. The downloading of admit cards will start from 2 May 2025, tentatively.

PRSU 2025 Admission 

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) is a renowned state university of Chhattisgarh, established in 1964. The PRSU 2025 admission process for the year 2025 is currently available online via its official portal (www.prsu.ac.in) from 25 March 2025 to 25 April 2025. Moreover, the PRSU offers a variety of UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses, such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed., M.A., MBA, etc. The admission to most of the undergraduate courses at PRSU is merit-based. However, some professional UG and PG courses and PhD courses require candidates to qualify for the university-specific entrance exams or national-level tests/exam score consideration.

PRSU Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The PRSU in Raipur has a total of 180 affiliated educational institutes, offering a wide range of courses for UG, PG, Ph.D., and Diploma levels. The eligibility criteria for admission into Pt Ravishankar Shukla University vary based on the course/programme selected by the candidates. If the student wants to take admission into a UG programme, then it requires a Class 12 certificate with a minimum of 50% marks. On the other hand, admission to PG courses requires a bachelor’s degree. 

In addition, some specific courses like MA and M.Sc. need candidates to appear and qualify for the entrance exams such as PRSU PG Entrance Exam, CBS-EST, etc. 

PRSU Application Form 2025-26

The admission to Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University 2025 is based on various entrance exams and university-level tests, depending on the specific course. PRSU Course Admission 2025

The PRSU admission for courses such as MBA, MA, BA LLB, and MSc has specific eligibility and selection criteria. The Candidate requires a bachelor’s degree with 50% (45% for reserved categories) for admission to an MBA, while the selection is based on CMAT/MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA. 

Similarly, admissions to courses including MA, BA LLB, and M.Sc. require a 12-grade diploma or bachelor’s degree with a 45% aggregate, and selection is through a university-level entrance exam. 

PRSU General Courses Admissions 2025

The PRSU admission to general courses will be done on the basis of the entrance examination for all academic programmes, excluding the following:

  • Certificate & Diploma Program
  • MBA & MBA Tourism – Based on CMAT
  • B. Pharmacy – As per the C.G. Govt. guidelines

Entrance Test Required: EST (Entrance Screening Test) and NEST (National Entrance Screening Test)

Minimum Qualification: 50% marks in the qualifying examination. (Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC PwD candidates of Chhattisgarh.

PRSU Self-financed Courses Admissions 2025

The admission to self-financed courses at PRSU depends on an entrance exam for all academic programmes except for those who are opting for the following:

  • Certificate & Diploma Program
  •  MBA & MBA Tourism – Based on CMAT
  •  B. Pharmacy – As per the C.G. Govt. guidelines
